As we bid a heartfelt farewell to Jane Crombleholme (Alliance Manchester Business School) and her remarkable service to UNICON, we are also delighted to share that Katarzyna Kozicz Fonseca (Nova School of Business and Economics) will take over the task of organizing future European Meet Ups.
Jane’s contributions to executive education and UNICON have been extraordinary, leaving a legacy that will continue to inspire, and both Jane and Katarzyna have been featured in our UNICON Women Campaign earlier this year, launched on International Women’s Day.
About Jane
Jane has worked at Alliance Manchester Business School in the UK since 1998. For nearly all that time, she has worked in the School’s Executive Education department, culminating in her leading the executive education department from 2018 until she stepped down in June. She wrote the School’s original application to join UNICON and was the prime representative for many years. She has been the co-chair of UNICON’s membership committee for over ten years and joined the UNICON board in 2022. She is also an accomplished non-executive director and is currently the Chair of Manchester Football Association.
“Working with my colleagues to establish the European network has been a total joy and one of the highlights of my professional life. The network started as a chat at the 2022 Director’s conference in New York, where a few of us decided we’d like to meet more frequently. Roll forward a few months, and then people came for dinner at Imperial. We must have enjoyed ourselves as we have since met at ESADE in Spain, Nova SBE in Portugal and SSE in Sweden with senior leaders from most European schools attending each event.”
