Dr. Mazi Raz is the Director of Strategy & Learning Design at The Ivey Academy and a faculty at the Ivey Business School in the General Management area group. With a Ph.D. in Strategy and as a specialist in arts-based and experiential learning, Mazi designs learning activities for degree and non-degree programs at Ivey. His current focus is on the politics of inequality, barriers to mobility, and the often-neglected dynamics of power and political plays in organizations.
Mazi has held senior roles with Sauder Executive Education at the University of British Columbia, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, Peter Lougheed Leadership Institute, and Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Mazi has lived and worked in Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and the USA. Before embarking on an academic career, Mazi was a senior manager with several large corporations across a few industries, including aviation, finance and media.
