UNICON Learning Community on Volute: Partnership Transition

Nearly three years ago, UNICON sought a way for our members to remain connected, especially as COVID changed the dynamics and frequency of in-person meetings.

In response, UNICON spearheaded the creation of a community that enables members to access each other and UNICON resources, reports and research, from any location at any time. We found a partner in Volute, which was also adapting to a new business environment expedited by COVID, finding synergy with UNICON as we both sought to reshape collaboration.

Reflecting on Our Partnership
Through our collaborative efforts, we’ve gained invaluable insights into the art of building online communities. The exchange of ideas between Volute and UNICON not only identified features that enhanced the UNICON Community, but also provided our members with fresh perspectives on tackling their own challenges, including some food-for-thought on how they could create their own corporate client and alumni communities of practice.

Moving Forward
The agreement between UNICON and Volute was signed as a 3-year engagement, concluding on October 15, 2024. At this time, Volute will focus on its core mission to connect business schools and corporations in real time to deliver essential knowledge to employees between programs, in the flow of work. UNICON will continue to pursue innovative ways to engage our community, and build on its strengths.

All UNICON information will be permanently removed from the Volute platform starting September 20th, and this process is scheduled to be completed by October 15th, at which time the contract will conclude. Volute is dedicated to protecting your privacy and ensuring compliance with applicable data protection regulations.

We are grateful for the journey with Volute. We will be in touch with Coffee Groups and Discussion facilitators as we look forward to continuing to support our UNICON members with the tools and resources they need.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us, or reach out to your Coffee Group / Discussion lead.

Thank you for your continued support for UNICON and Volute.
