UNICON Coffee Break Groups Still Going Strong

Consider joining a quarterly conference call with peers from other schools with similar job responsibilities

UNICON “coffee breaks” bring people together to discuss shared challenges, strategies and solutions. And, it’s a great way to network!

UNICON facilitates these self-managed groups by creating the initial groupings, scheduling calls, sending invitations, hosting the first few calls, and monitoring the groups.

In May 2020, there were 100 UNICON members participating in 16 small groupings. Today, there are 280 participants in 39 groups and we’re looking for more!

What UNICON members are saying about Coffee Break groups:

Stephanie Hodnett, Executive Director, Rotman Executive Programs, University of Toronto

I love my coffee group! The chance to build a relationship with peers experiencing challenges similar to my own – to learn, guide and support one another over time – has been absolutely invaluable.

Henrik Björck, Business Area Director-Customized Solutions, Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education

I think the coffee break chats have been a very good and informal way for me to get to know colleagues from other business schools. The chats have been very open and friendly, and I have really appreciated meeting so many interesting people and discussing our challenges that often are similar.
