Director of Learning Experience Futures

About the role

How do we design the learning of tomorrow? As Director of Learning Experience Futures, you will lead Imperial’s mission to create exceptional, inclusive, and future-focused learning experiences. From AI-driven personalisation to immersive technologies, this is your chance to push the boundaries of how people learn.

What you would be doing

You’ll bring together a multidisciplinary team of designers, technologists, and researchers to reimagine learning across Imperial’s portfolio. From executive education to youth programmes, you’ll champion innovation in pedagogy, digital design, and data-driven insight. You’ll lead a vibrant R&D agenda, ensuring Imperial not only delivers transformative experiences but also sets the standard for global learning innovation.

What we are looking for

  • Deep knowledge of learning sciences, inclusive design, learning analytics and educational technology.
  • Experience leading scalable, human-centered innovation and learning experience development.
  • Track record of transforming vision into action, balancing experimentation with operational excellence.
  • Curious, creative, agile and collaborative leadership style.
