Center for Executive Education (CEE) at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in Karachi, Pakistan, is a pioneer of business and executive leadership development in Pakistan. Established in 1955, IBA’s course contents, curriculum, pedagogical tools, assessment, and testing methods have been inspired by its initial technical supporters, the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Southern California. Presently, with two campuses in Karachi and a satellite office in Islamabad, IBA has evolved into a multifaceted autonomous institute offering diverse academic programs. Over time, IBA has zealously guarded the high standards and academic traditions it had inherited from Wharton and USC while adapting and adjusting them with the local industries’ demand.
IBA’s dedication to excellence shines brightly in its demanding academics, varied teaching approaches, and unwavering academic integrity. Not only that, but the institute actively makes a difference in society through research centers like the Center for Business and Economic Research, Center for Excellence in Journalism, and the Karachi Urban Lab (among others), tackling crucial issues like sustainable development and urban challenges. On top of that, IBA prioritizes social responsibility through initiatives like the Responsible Citizen Program and Talent Hunt Program, empowering students to be community servants and champions of inclusivity.
The IBA, through its Center for Executive Education (CEE) provides flexible learning opportunities for Practitioners and Professionals across all organizational levels. IBA has been offering professional development programs since its inception.
The Center for Executive Education was formally established in 2003, offering a diverse portfolio of non-degree, executive education, governance, leadership and management development programs.
