Cranfield University

Director of Open Programmes

Wharley End, England

Position ID:

An exciting opportunity to shape the future of Executive Development at Cranfield School of Management

Cranfield Executive Development (CED) is recruiting for two key roles that will lead and drive a new era for executive education at Cranfield. We are currently looking for both;

Director of Customised Programmes and Director of Open Programmes

We welcome applications from talented individuals for two distinct, but interrelated, high profile posts. Each post offers the opportunity to succeed within a highly-visible, critical part of our executive development portfolio, and contribute to our future strategic direction.

As members of CED’s Senior Management Team, each Director will be responsible for strategic leadership of these flagship parts of the portfolio. They will be responsible for revenue, profitability, quality, and accelerated growth by leading, developing, and shaping the future of either Customised Programmes or Open Programmes. Each Director will lead (and line manage) separate sales teams, but will need to work closely together in order to provide a unified approach, ensuring clients are able to take full advantage of the Cranfield portfolio.

About You

Director of Open Programmes:

You will be responsible for growth, quality, and profitability of our open programmes portfolio. You will have experience of designing, delivering, and managing executive education programmes, including, as a minimum, delivery of Leadership-related programmes. With up-to-date knowledge of leadership theories and effective practices, you will be able to connect corporate requirements, Cranfield faculty expertise and essential programme content. You will have proven commercial acumen and experience of leading a sales-focused team. You will bring credibility and gravitas through your experience working at C-suite and Director level and will have excellent collaboration and influencing skills.
